 Open Mind reDesign

Open Mind reDesign

I recently attended one of the Art & Clothing Exhibits held at OMrD in Tempe.

For the most part, it-was-pretty-fucking-dope

If you haven't heard of Open Mind reDesign, they've been holding it down for the creative seen in the Valley for the past 5 years now, and they do some quality screen-printing work too.

Anyways,

As per usushhh, there was food and munchies, particularly some bomb-ass hummus. But the exhibit was pretty large. The entire back alley was filled with artist and vendor tables in between a DJ booth. For more info click here

I first saw Terrance Kelsey, an amazing artist! Also, Rob Bass, another sick-fucking artist, that does some crazy work with sneakers at their tables displaying their works.

I checked out some interesting stuff. Drank a beer. Ate an Oreo. Maybe 4...

 Hunni Streetwear

Hunni Streetwear

I was happy to see that the Valley Scene is strong and growing bigger. I found shit like Hunni, an urban streetwear clothing line, piloted by some ambitious ladies.

I'm hoping to see more from them.

The Hip-hop performances were right in the middle of the exhibit. PK tha Poet, hosted, and Qosmic Qadence  provided an enlightened serenade.

We smoked another blunt.

Special thanks to the guys at OMrD!
