PRESIDIO

In the heart of Uptown Phoenix is a hidden gem, don't blink to quickly or else you could be missing out dining in this beautiful restaurant. Whether it's breakfast, brunch, linner (yeah you have to fit that one in there too), and dinner, it's not only a sight to see but your taste-buds instantly melt!

I got the opportunity to consume an ice cold Dos Equis while listening to an urban Bohemic selection of Latin music as I waited for my food.

Let's just start with the service, from the moment you enter, expect to be greeted by all staff members.

Literally,

everyone is all smiles welcoming you in and throughout my dining experience.

I don't remember a moment being neglected--I was well taken care of--water topped off, coffee, what salsas I needed.

Needless to say, I felt at home here. This Michoacan-style restaurant we can only expect the best spices for our palette. With that said, devouring those Chilaquiles served with a delicious green sauce (hey red-sauce lovers you can ask for it red don't mope) topped up with cotija cheese my first taste was crunch-frigging-fantastic!

If you guys aren't in to that crunch, try out their enchiladas drenched in red sauce and accompanied by rice and beans. If you are a foodie like me, I threw in a tamale in there just for kicks.

Presidio's menu items are priced between $10-$15/person and worth it. Happy hour menus available, I recommend the $2 tacos, try them all! Remember, don't blink so fast Presidio is across the street from St. Joseph's Hospital in small plaza. Stop in and be ready to dine-in Mexican style!!
