Beyonce Makes History During Coahella Performance

All hail Queen Bey! With week one already in the books the hype was real and lived up to it. Beyoncé was set to headline Saturday night (April 14th.) The former Destiny's Child member gave her fan's a night they'll never forget. Beyoncé opened up her set with an HBCU band where she was seen in a yellow top, cut off booty jeans and dazzling white feathery boots.


Beyoncé performed her biggest hits including "Get Me Bodied" with her sister Solange Knowles. Not only was it a surprise appearance for the fans, it was also a surprise for media outlets across the internet. Beyonce also brought out hubby Jay-Z to perform a slew of hits including "Bonnie and Clyde." The queen made history by becoming the first black female artist to headline Coachella Music Festival.

The amazing acknowledgement comes right after Marvel's "Black Panther" had the highest grossing week domestically for an action movie in U.S. history. Beyoncé is set to perform again at Coachella for week 2. Stay tuned for more updates from the show.
